Remembering the Power of the Holy Spirit Today

This world is heading for a collision course with destiny. Hold on tight because nothing can stop that which God, the Creator of the heavens and earth, declares. The best we can hope for is to be in tune with that spirit and to hear the message being given to us for that day.

Today, I'm am yielding to that spirit of the Lord as I'm prompted to dedicate this day to posting the spiritual messages shown and given to me. Many of these are being shared in companionship with music, which is the universal language of love. Music is a medium which the human heart and spirit understands. Upon that note, I give you this video today.

The Holy Spirit has prompted me with such a strong directive in my spirit that I could not ignore it. I was moved about time slipping into the future, which you will see if you read my post on The Midnight Writers Blogs. So I searched for the video to share and listened to the song several times. During this listening to the words and watching the imagery, the holy spirit of the Lord spoke to me again to seek out a song By the Rivers of Babylon, which you will see on today's post at One Tin Soldier.

The spirit showed me that we are on the jericho road and that we need to seek the holy spirit and move and breathe every moment in this way. Especially during these times. Hard times are coming and it will not be well with our souls if we do not know the Lord our God and Savior and if we do not yield to God's will and spirit.

Further, the holy spirit prompted me to share the message from Ezekiel of the Dry Bones, which directly applies to today, right now. Please read this message that I was shown from a sermon on the internet and please read the particular passages in Ezekiel.

We seriously stand right now in the Valley of Decision.

Call the Valley of Dry Bones to Come Alive
Ezekiel 37:1-14 NKJ
Vs. 1 “The hand of the Lord came upon me and brought me out in the Spirit of
the Lords, and set me down in the midst of the valley; and it was full of bones.”
A nation’s true condition is discerned by the hand of the Lord…by the Spirit of the
Lord. And what He shows us isn’t always what we want to see. Here God
showed the prophet Ezekiel a valley of dry bones.
Vss. 2-3 “Then He caused me to pass by them all around, and behold, there
were very many in the open valley; and indeed they were very dry. 3 And He said
to me, “Son of man, can these bones live?” So I answered, “O Lord God, You
know.”
Today I want you to imagine Ezekiel’s feeling of helplessness, of hopelessness
upon seeing all this deadness. And he says, “Can these bones live?” Can the
USA experience revival once more and live? Can our individual conferences
come alive in revival?
The answer is: “Lord, You alone know.” We have an absolute dependence on
God alone for revival. But our focus must be on God, not on desperate
conditions.
Vs. 4 “Then he said to me, “Prophesy to these bones and say to them, ‘Dry
bones, hear the word of the Lord!”
That’s what not only the Rocky Mountain Conference, but America needs: to
“hear the word of the Lord!” We need to hear the written word preached, taught,
and witnessed. We need to hear the prophetic word, which requires a moving of
the Holy Spirit. We need the anointed word, no man’s ‘wisdom’ to be preached
and heard in our churches.
This will only be done through anointed, Spirit-filled vessels: “Prophesy to these
bones.” You may be concerned about looking foolish but this must be done.
Prophesy to the valley of dry bones around you.
Vss. 5-6 “Thus says the Lord God to these bones: “Surely I will cause breath to
enter into you, and you shall live. I will put sinews on you and bring flesh upon
you, cover you with skin and put breath in you; and you shall live. Then you shall
know that I am the Lord.”
America needs and must experience that breath of God! “Breath” in the Hebrew
language also means “wind” or “spirit.” America needs to be born again by the
Spirit and baptized with the Holy Spirit, changed into a different nation by the
Spirit, as with Saul in 1 Samuel 10:6, “Then the Spirit of the Lord will come upon
you, and you will prophesy with them and be turned into another man.”
Ezekiel 37:7 “So I prophesied as I was commanded; and as I prophesied, there
was a noise, and suddenly a rattling; and the bones came together, bone to
bone.”
Revival requires obedience. “I prophesied as I was commanded.” Ezekiel was
speaking into a situation in which it appeared all hope was gone, everything was
dead. As he prophesied, God brought order (bone to bone) out of destruction and
deadness.
Vs. 8 “Indeed, as I looked, the sinews and the flesh came upon them, and the
skin covered them over; but there was no breath in them.” We see here that the
body was coming together, but there was no breath yet. To accomplish the work
God has set before us requires a unity, a “together” body. In fact this unity is a
precursor to the breath of God coming into that body.
Vs. 9 “Also He said to me, ‘Prophesy to the breath, prophesy, son of man, and
say to the breath, Thus says the Lord God: Come from the four winds, O breath,
and breathe on these slain, that they may live.’”
God expects His people to cry out to Him and call on Him and to prophecy over
the dead areas of our lives and nation. We have a part in the renewing of the
Holy Spirit. “(You) prophesy to the breath…’Come … O breath.” This requires the
“effectual fervent prayer,” insistent prayer, for God’s breath to blow.
Bringing new life to dry bones will require much calling on the Lord for His breath
to blow upon our “valley of dry bones.”
Vs 10 “So I prophesied as He commanded me, and breath came into them, and
they lived, and stood upon their feet, an exceedingly great army.”
God is calling willing, obedient intercessors and pastors to call upon Him in this
time of dryness. Pray and prophesy and the breath of God will blow once again,
bringing new life into what is parched, dry and dead. Prophesy to the valley of dry
bones to become a living multitude. Call forth this vast army of God to stand on
its feet and march in the direction God leads.
Vs. 11 The He said to me, “Son of man, these bones are the whole house of
Israel. They indeed say, ‘Our bones are dry, our hope is lost, and we ourselves
are cut off!’
Ezekiel identifies this army as the “whole house of Israel, the Church today.
Galatians 6:16, “And as many as walk according to this rule, peace and mercy be
upon them, and upon the Israel of God.”
Our present state of dryness is not the end of the story. Things are not hopeless
when God comes on the scene.
Vs. 12 “Therefore prophesy and say to them, ‘Thus says the Lord God: Behold,
O My people, I will open your graves and cause you to come up from your
graves, and bring you into the land of Israel.’”
“Therefore,” in light of the despair you observe, you speak: God will open your
graves. He will bring you out of your deadness. He will bring you back to the
Land of Promise. You must speak a message of hope from God.
Vs. 13 “Then you shall know that I am the Lord, when I have opened your
graves, O My people, and brought you up from your graves.”
Even in the worst of times, even if you feel you are barely hanging on in a valley
of dry bones, remember, God says, “You are still my people.”
Vs. 14 “I will put My Spirit in you, and you shall live, and I will place you in your
own land. Then you shall know that I, the Lord, have spoken it and performed it,”
says the Lord.”

God will pour out His Spirit once again bringing numerous conversions and He
will baptize with the Holy Spirit and the rivers of living water will begin to flow.

What will be the final outcome? An entire nation will come to know that God is
the Lord and that He is able and willing and will do great things for His people
who cry out to Him and He will raise “an exceeding great army.”
You must maintain a survival attitude. Determine that you will stay alive, even if
you find yourself in a valley of dry bones. Eat the Word of God during times of
spiritual famine in the land. Maintain your relationship with the Father and stay
under the anointing. Continue to pray, “Come, O Breath of God.” Be quick to
speak the things God prompts you to speak into the dryness. Leave the timing of
any move of God up to Him.
