A Trip to Spain

My husband and I went on a once in a lifetime trip to Barcelona, Spain last year. We had been saving money for the trip for almost three years. We couldn't believe it when the day of the trip finally arrived. We got up at four in the morning. After we got our luggage to the car, we set our securitychoice.com alarm system and left for our dream vacation.

The flight to Spain was extremely long, but we didn't mind. My husband and I slept a good portion of the trip. When we weren't sleeping we were talking about all the fun stuff we were going to do on the trip. Most of the time we talked about how we couldn't believe that we actually going to Spain.

When we arrived at the airport we got our luggage and took a cab to our hotel. Even though we excited to start our vacation, we decided stay at the hotel and relax the first evening of our vacation. We order room service and watch a Spanish movie.

The next morning when we woke up we started planning what we were going to do that day. We finally decided that we would go to Montserrat. This is a famous mountain Spain. Before we headed for the mountain we went to a little grocery store to purchase items for a picnic lunch. We took a long hike on the mountain. Once we got to the top of the mountain, we could not believe the amazing view. We took a ton of pictures, before settling down for our picnic. By the time we were done hiking down the mountain we were ready to relax.

We headed back to our hotel where we booked a couple's massage. The massages were amazing and relaxed both of us.

The rest of the week was filled with more memorable activities. We visited so many amazing museums on the trip. I think our favorite part of the trip was visiting a house that Gaudi built. We are sad to be home, but we are already planning our next trip.
